What the M.RS offers
The Postgraduate Master course Resilient Spaces creates an innovative professional profile with skills and tools in the field of urban recovery, transformation and adaptation following climatic, social and economic crises. The courses will focus on: planning, architecture, urban design, cross-cultural understanding and community engagement while allowing students to work with local communities, governments and multiple professional figures in an interdisciplinary framework.
Resilient Spaces is concluded by a two weeks workshop in Venice with the students working side by side with professors and outside experts to finalize their master thesis.
Resilient Spaces is formed by three online academic modules: toolbox, operational manual and process design. Each module is composed by three courses (32 hours – one week) hold by highly qualified professors and completed by a series of talks by global experts presenting key institutions and significant best-practices.
The Master Resilient Spaces is accredited with international organizations, administrations and offices for the required internship to complete the credits necessary to obtain the master degree (the minimum period of internship is 6 months). Students can also carry out their internship at other institutions individuated through an open discussion with the numerous guests that will participate in the master. The board will discuss with each student the different possibilities in order to provide solutions tailored to his/hers own needs and expand the partners network.
